CHI’s Au Pairs love children, have a desire to share their cultural heritage and look forward to being part of the daily family life. They go through a thorough screening process, including personal interviews, previous childcare experience evaluation, psychometric testing, criminal background checks and confirmed character reference checks.
Au Pair Qualifications
Candidates are selected based on their maturity, independence, adaptability, and, most importantly, for their sincere interest in and affection towards children.
Basic Au Pair Qualification Criteria
- Between the ages of 18-26
- At least a high school graduate
- Proficient in English
- At least 200 hours of recent documented practical childcare experience
- In possession of a valid driver’s license
- No criminal record
- Able to submit three references
- Able to pass a psychometric test which measures behavior and personality
- Willing to share customs and culture from their home country
