Columbia Mom, the top source of information for moms in the Midlands, is thrilled to announce their annual national event Bloom: An Event for New & Expecting Moms.

About Bloom

Bloom is a targeted event for new and expecting moms in 50+ cities across the country and with an anticipated attendance of 4,000+ attendees. Hosted by City Mom Collective and our Sister Sites, events will take place during April and May. Our annual Bloom event reaches moms and moms-to-be in local markets while providing your brand with face-to-face interaction and the opportunity to place your products and services directly into the hands of your target audience. City Mom Collective events are known for bringing in 50 – 500 attendees in each city and allowing brands to successfully connect with our readers. About Columbia Mom

Our site recently celebrated its 6th anniversary, and we have seen steady growth. With a consistent average of close to 1 million page views annually, an average of 60,000+ unique visitors a month and social media followings of more than 20,000, Columbia Mom has become the go-to website for all things parent and kid related in and around the Columbia area.

We are comprised of more than 35 Columbia area moms who are social media influencers writing regularly about all things mom and all things related to the Midlands. Content is published 7 days a week. All content is automatically emailed to our large subscriber list of close to 10,000 and cross-promoted on our robust social media platforms. We also host events, like Bloom, to create a connection to our readers both offline and online.

The Details

WHO :: 125 new and expecting mothers

WHEN :: Saturday, May 23, 2020 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

WHERE :: Segra Park in the 7,000 square foot state-of-the-art indoor Club Lounge, 1640 Freed Street, Columbia, SC 29201

WHAT :: Bloom guests will have the opportunity to interact with local experts, gather swag geared towards new moms, win incredible giveaways and learn about brands and products that make motherhood easier.

The Options

We have multiple opportunities for your brand to get involved in Bloom. All sponsorship levels come with the following ::

  • Inclusion in an online invitation and event recap blog post (sent to our subscriber list of close to 10,000)
  • Acknowledgement in the printed event program
  • Gratuitous social media across Columbia Mom’s platforms (which reaches 75,000+ per week)
  • Access to local moms

Title Sponsor ($1000)

Have your brand’s logo on the official Bloom graphic used across social media and prominently featured on our site, as well is in the community. Includes a 3 month banner ad on the right sidebar of our site to further increase brand recognition (valued at $750). Title sponsors may also have an in person table at the event and a seat on our expert panel discussion (if desired), a feature in our program, as well as opportunity to participate in giveaways and swag bag inclusion. In addition, title sponsor receives special thanks and recognition at the event, and the benefits outlined in the bullet points in “The Options” section above. Professional photographs of the event will include your brand, and will be shared in an album on Facebook and in our post-event recap. 

In-Person Table Sponsor ($250)

Reach moms in person at Bloom with your own table! Brands may display marketing materials, promote their products and services, distribute swag, gather email addresses, talk to moms, host giveaways and more. Recognition and acknowledgement also received in our event promotions and post-event recap. Table sponsors have the opportunity to participate in giveaways and swag bag inclusion, as well as the benefits outlined in the bullet points in “The Options” section above. Professional photographs of the event will include your brand, and will be shared in an album on Facebook and in our post event recap. 

Field Expert & In-Person Table Sponsor ($350 – limited to 4)

Go beyond the in-person table sponsor by securing yourself as an expert in your field during a panel discussion. This will give you the opportunity to speak more directly to moms, network, and further build your client base as the “go-to” business in your field. Participation also includes a vendor table in the front location, along with the opportunity to display marketing materials, promote their products and services, distribute swag, gather email addresses, talk to moms, host giveaways and more. Recognition and acknowledgement also received in our event promotions and post-event recap, and one month of ad space on our website for continued brand recognition ($300 value). Sponsors have the opportunity to participate in giveaways and swag bag inclusion, as well as the benefits outlined in the bullet points in “The Options” section above. Experience Sponsor ($250)

Provide an experience (like a massage, DIY craft, pampering, etc.) that features your brand in a unique way to our guests. Sponsors in this category have the option of receiving their own room to showcase their services, display marketing materials, distribute swag and more. Recognition and acknowledgement also received in our event promotions and post-event recap. Sponsors have the opportunity to participate in giveaways and swag bag inclusion, as well as the benefits outlined in the bullet points in “The Options” section above. Professional photographs of the event will include your brand, and will be shared in an album on Facebook and in our post event recap. 

Feeding Room Sponsor ($300 – limited to 1) 

Be the sole sponsor of our feeding room that we will have set up at the event. This includes your logo on our Feeding Room signage at the event itself and on all of our web marketing listed as our nursing room sponsor. Sponsors can provide brochures, signage, bottled water, healthy treats, samples, etc. to be displayed prominently within the nursing room. This sponsorship can be purchased without a physical presence at the event, or can be added on to other additional sponsorship opportunities. Recognition and acknowledgement also received in our event promotions and post-event recap. Sponsors have the opportunity to participate in giveaways and swag bag inclusion, as well as the benefits outlined in the bullet points in “The Options” section above. Professional photographs of the event will include your brand, and will be shared in an album on Facebook and in our post event recap. 

Food / Beverage Sponsor ($200 – limited to 5)

Segra Park has a 7,000 square foot indoor banquet facility that offers state of the art food and catering. Our event will treat guests to a fantastic brunch. Benefits of food/beverage sponsorship include sponsorship table signage, special thanks and recognition at the event, and the perks outlined above in The Options section. Program Sponsor ($200 – limited to 2)

Receive a half page feature on the printed event program which will be distributed to all moms and sponsors in attendance. Recognition and acknowledgement also received in our event promotions and post-event recap.

Giveaway Sponsor ($50)

Giveaway sponsors are prominently featured at our giveaway table. The physical giveaways are set up on a display table, and winners are announced live at the event by brand name. Recognition and acknowledgement also received in our event promotions and post-event recap. Professional photographs of the giveaways will be shared in an album on Facebook and in our post event recap. 

Swag Sponsor ($25)

VIP Swag Option (limited spots available) – provide 30 identical items for our VIP swag bags with a monetary value of at least $20+. This MUST be a physical item.

Regular Swag Option – provide 125 identical items (actual products) for our swag bags. Any paper items MUST have a high value, be approved by our team, and be attached to a physical item to be included in swag bags.

  • Please fill out the form below and let us know the option you are interested in by Friday, May 8. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Once we confirm the availability of sponsorship opportunity requested, an invoice will be sent via email.
