The is a hands-on, family-friendly event designed to introduce kids to the world of construction, public safety, and skilled trades through interactive activities, equipment displays, and local industry partners. Hosted by NAWIC Columbia Chapter #113 at the Lexington Technology Center, the event will feature construction equipment, first responders, STEM activities, food trucks, touch-a-truck experiences, and opportunities for children to explore careers in the trades in a fun and engaging environment. Families from across the Midlands are invited to attend.
The first hour of the event will be sensory friendly, with reduced lights, sirens, and loud noises to create a more comfortable experience for children with sensory sensitivities.
