At South Carolina OB/GYN Associates, our top priority is our patients’ health. We understand the special care needed to provide women with optimal health through every stage of their lives and aim to help our patients achieve that while feeling comfortable and cared for.

For over 50 years, our practice has provided gynecological and pregnancy-related services to women in the Columbia SC area of all ages. By offering comprehensive women’s health services in our office, including on-site mammograms, our patients receive the care necessary to meet the challenges they face at every stage of life.

We are proud to offer our patients care in a warm facility designed to make them feel at-ease. Our OB Suite provides care for our expectant mothers in an environment built to serve their unique needs and foster a sense of nurturing. With a busy schedule juggling work and families, our patients find the wealth of gynecological services available in our office convenient and comforting knowing they will be cared for by someone they are familiar with.

Because we serve a wide age range, we have many patients who have trusted their care to us from before they were pregnant all the way through menopause. We grow with our patients and help guide them through each unique stage of a woman’s life. We celebrate their children and watch them grow. In fact, we have been honored to deliver more than 60,000 babies over the course of our practice!

We are an inclusive 5-day preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds within Glenforest School. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive atmosphere conducive to fostering each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Glenforest Inclusive Child Development Center is also now an official First Steps 4K provider and is accepting applications for the 4 Year Old Kindergarten. Qualifying families pay NO TUITION. To qualify, your child must:
1) be 4 years old on or before September 1st
2) be eligible for the free or reduced-price lunch program or Medicaid
3) live in one of the qualifying school districts (see attached flier) that includes Richland 1, Lexington 2, Lexington 3, or Lexington 4.

The Athena Advantage℠ encompasses an entire tool box available to students to help them succeed academically, prepare for high stakes exams, and give them the necessary critical thinking skills for the 21st century workplace. Athena’s best-in-class curricula offerings include math, reading, and writing as well as SAT®/ACT® test preparation. These curricula offerings align to new and more rigorous standards, both in Common Core and non-Common Core states.

At Athena, we will provide your child with a thorough educational assessment and develop a learning plan aligned to meet the standards of your child’s grade, both in Common Core and non-Common Core states. We’ve developed the Athena API-or Assessment for Personalized Instruction. Our assessments are research based, time-tested, and administered with experienced educational staff. Most of the time, certified teachers will tutor your child twice per week for about 60 to 90 minutes of instruction per visit. We work with students individually or in small peer groups. We generally recommend focusing on one subject at a time but will accommodate two subject students by parent request.

CHI’s Au Pairs love children, have a desire to share their cultural heritage and look forward to being part of the daily family life. They go through a thorough screening process, including personal interviews, previous childcare experience evaluation, psychometric testing, criminal background checks and confirmed character reference checks.
