In the Children’s Room, children can browse the shelves for their new favorite story or find books on topics that interest them.  Activities include:  art tables, craft projects, scavenger hunts, LEGOs, dollhouses and games.  

In the Teen Center*, teens can find the next book in the series they’re reading, research for homework projects or discover a new favorite author.   Activities include:  the makerspace, foosball, ping pong and other games.  

In addition to a calm space, sensory supports will be available on a first come, first served basis.  

Good to know before you go:

• From 12:30 pm – 1:45 pm, lighting will be dimmed and escalators and music will be off.  At 1:45 pm, we will slowly turn up lighting and turn on escalators and music for regular service hours.  
• Only the Garden Level and the Garden Level entrance will be accessible during sensory friendly hours.
• The closest parking is the lower parking lot located between Park and Washington Streets.  
• Metered street parking is free on Sundays.
