FREE Thank You Printables for Essential Workers!

0

To say we are living in different times is an understatement. And there are so many people going the extra mile to help make sure WE stay safe and that our lives run as smooth as possible – teachers, healthcare workers, delivery people, restaurants, and MORE!

In an effort to show these individuals how much they are appreciated, we’ve created some easy “thank you” printables you can give your kids to color and decorate to help brighten that special person’s day. So grab the crayons, colored pencils, art supplies… and let your little ones get creative!

*Did you know that May 6 is both National Teachers Day AND National Nurses Day? What a perfect time to say “THANK YOU” to our hardworking teachers and nurses!

How It Works

  1. Download and print the coloring sheets
  2. Give them to the kids to color (while you enjoy yourself a hot cup of coffee…or wine…no judgment here!)

Ideas of What to Do With Them

  • Hang them in your windows or doors for your mail carrier or UPS/FedEx delivery person or a healthcare worker living in your neighborhood to see as they are heading to work
  • Send them snail mail to your child’s teacher or a healthcare worker
  • Take a picture or video of your child holding it and email to their teacher or a healthcare worker
  • Take a picture or video and email it to your favorite restaurant or post it on their Facebook page

We would love to see the beautiful artwork your kids create! Tag us at @columbiascmoms on Instagram and we will re-share!

Tiffany Nettles
Tiffany traded in back-to-back business meetings and PowerPoint presentations, for sippy cups and play dates – leaving her corporate job behind to become a stay at home mom to her 16-month-old toddler. To say life is different is an understatement, and she now has a new found love and respect for the “hardest” (and best!) job she’s ever had. A native South Carolinian, Tiffany is best described as kind-hearted and friendly, with a quick sense of humor. When she’s not toting her little one around town to the latest kid friendly activity, you can find her enjoying a latte at Drip, catching up on the latest celebrity gossip magazines, or watching old reruns of Beverly Hills 90210 from the early 90′s. She received her Masters Degree in Integrated Communications from the University of South Carolina in 2007, and enjoys reading, writing and all things "mom."
